To coincide with the animations, I created several audio tracks that played throughout the gallery. You could hear bits of the interviews, but it changed depending on where you stood in the room. I wanted the space to feel overwhelming, as if you were overhearing several very personal conversations.
Promotional video created to spread word of the gallery show and create excitement.
The invitations created for opening night also doubled as posters. Invitations were designed in a map fold style, with varying posters on the reverse. I wanted the invitations to be souvenirs that visitors would keep, and potentially help promote the show as well. The poster designs were bold and eye-catching with only essential information included to keep the look feeling minimal and clean.
I created numerous polaroids with handwritten "confessions" which were spread throughout the city. Each polaroid also contained gallery information and the #ijustwanttoknowyou where Instagram users were encouraged to share their finds with their friends. This proved to be a very successful tactic that created hype and excitement before the gallery even opened.
Created to summarize my work creating content for the gallery show which opened during the month of November 2014. Video includes process work, as well as footage from opening night.
